📝 LAB NOTES

Epithalon (also known as Epitalon or Epithalone) is a synthetic tetrapeptide composed of four amino acids: alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and glycine (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly). It has been studied for its potential influence on cellular aging, telomerase activity, telomere biology, gene expression, oxidative stress, circadian regulation, and pineal-related biological processes.

Research interest has particularly focused on Epithalon's potential interaction with mechanisms associated with cellular longevity and replicative aging, including studies examining telomerase activation and telomere elongation in human somatic cells.

TARGETED RESEARCH USE

Cellular aging, telomere biology, telomerase activity, cellular longevity pathways, replicative senescence, gene expression, oxidative-stress mechanisms, circadian regulation, pineal-related biological processes, and age-associated cellular changes.
